How the Program Works

Pay $40 per year to "link" an eligible AmEx card to the Membership Rewards program. Thereafter, earn one point for every dollar charged on the enrolled card. Points can be converted to miles in participating airline and hotel frequent travel programs, or exchanged for merchandise at participating retailers (see below).
