Beginning in the late '90s, this section of FrequentFlier.com was a digital trophy case where we displayed the many awards bestowed upon the site.
While the self-congratulatory days of the Internet are long gone, we've maintained the awards pages because they're a part of history, both of the Web and of this site. And because some of the award graphics are downright cool.
But today, websites -- including this one -- look elsewhere for validation. And what we find particularly gratifying is recognition by mainstream media. We get plenty of it. Some recent examples--
